Is de officiële naam Immerhof afkomstig van de naburige boerderij, de bijnaam Tiburce komt van de gelijknamige heilige, een verwijzing die de bewoners in 1940 hebben gegeven. De primaire missie van deze P.O. (klein werk) was het beschermen van de spoorlijn tussen Thionville en Luxemburg. Bij het minste gevaar werd de koepel ingesteld om op de bedreiging te vuren. In de 250 meter galerij bevinden zich echte woonruimtes op twee verdiepingen, nog in perfecte staat van onderhoud.
