De Eemshaven is een overslaghaven, gelegen in de gemeente Het Hogeland in de provincie Groningen en is de grootste zeehaven van Noord-Nederland. Ze ligt aan de westelijke oever van de Eemsmonding, een zee-arm waar de Eems uitstroomt in de Noordzee.De haven is CEMT-klasse Va en bestaat uit vier basins. Net als de haven van Delfzijl wordt de Eemshaven beheerd door Groningen Seaports. De vaarwegdiepte varieert van NAP −12,80 tot NAP −10,80 meter. De haven heeft een verkeersbegeleidingssysteem. Het blokkanaal van de Verkeersdienst Eemshaven is marifoon VHF-kanaal 1. Alle schepen moeten zich bij aankomst en vertrek hier melden.
