El Limfjord és un estret de Dinamarca que separa l'illa de Vendsyssel-Thy de la resta de la península de Jutlàndia. S'estén des de Thyborøn al Mar del Nord fins a Hals al Kattegat al llarg d'uns 180 km amb una superfície d'uns 1.500 km². Presenta una forma molt irregular amb nombroses badies, passatges estrets i illes, entre les quals destaca l'illa de Mors. Tot i originàriament era un fiord avui dia ja no ho és.
