Bygningen af den Gamle Post (det tidligere museum Kysthistorier) stammer fra 1926 og var dengang faktisk postbygningen for Middelkerke. I dag er det et turistkontor og besøgscenter, hvor der regelmæssigt afholdes midlertidige udstillinger. Det oprindelige design af arkitekt M. de la Croix er blevet smukt bevaret og blev i 2001 anerkendt som et beskyttet monument.
