Rundt kirken i den Alveringemske delkommune Oeren opstod der under WW I en militær kirkegård. Her ligger 508 belgiske soldater begravet. Engang stod der mange heltegrave, kendetegnet ved bogstaverne AVV-VVK. I februar 1918 blev disse bogstaver smurt over på omkring 38 grave. I dag finder du stadig 5 heltegrave på denne kirkegård.
