Bad Homburg vor der Höhe er er en by i Hochtaunuskreises med 54.144 indbyggere og en af syv byer med særlig status i Hessen og udpeget som et regionalt center i henhold til den hessiske landudviklingsplan.
Bad Homburg ligger i metropolregionen Frankfurt/Rhein-Main. Byen er blevet internationalt kendt – siden 1912 med tillægsordet "Bad" – for sine mange kilder som kur- og senere kongressted samt på grund af det allerede i 1841 grundlagte casino, der kaldes "Mor til Monte-Carlo". Med en købekraftsindeks på 156,4 var Bad Homburg i 2020 i den nationale topklasse.
