Fintau er en 18,9 kilometer lang venstre biflod til Wümme i Niedersachsen, Tyskland. Floden udspringer sydøst for Eggersmühlen ved Wesseloh i Heidekreis kommune og flyder overvejende i nordvestlig retning først gennem naturbeskyttede skov-, mark- og engområder i naturbeskyttelsesområdet Øvre Fintautal i Samtgemeinde Fintel. Den krydser kommunen Vahlde og munder nordvest for Lauenbrück ud i den her knap lige så store Wümme.
