Det Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium Uelzen er, ved siden af Lessing-Gymnasium, en af gymnasierne i hansestaden Uelzen i Niedersachsen. Det blev første gang nævnt i 1333 som latinskole. Gymnasiet er opkaldt efter Ernst I., hertug af Brunsvigh og Lüneburg.
Første omtaler fandt allerede sted i det 14. århundrede, men først i 1535 overgav hertug Ernst sit fødehus i slutningen af Pastorenstraße til skolen. Men allerede i 1538 befandt skolen, som på dette tidspunkt kun omfattede to klasser, sig på nordsiden af den til Mariakirken tilhørende kirkegård. I 1792 blev skolen flyttet til sydsiden, før den i 1904 blev indkvarteret i en bygning på Schillerstraße. I 1969 flyttede skolen til den nuværende bygning på Albertstraße.
