Vi kører nu stille tilbage til Malaucène. Til højre drejer vi i retning af Mont Ventoux. Det er en stille og især flad asfaltvej langs en flod. På et tidspunkt krydser vi en større asfaltvej, der går fra Entrechaux til Malaucène. Vi cykler bare ligeud.
Et par kilometer længere kommer vi til en noget større asfaltvej. Der cykler vi til højre op ad en kort bakke og så hele vejen ned til Malaucène.
