Spredt ud over parken Parc de la Villette ligger 26 røde follies af unyttige men skøre bygninger. Parc de la Villette er efter Père Lachaise det største grønt område i Paris. Parken omfatter 35 hektar grønt herunder de elleve temahaver. Tidligere lå slagterierne i La Villette her, som blev lukket i 1974.
