Annales-skolen er en retning inden historieforskningen, som er en fortsættelse af fornyelsesforsøgene i historieforskningen mellem 1900 og 1930, der reagerede imod den historiske realisme fra historismen af Leopold von Ranke. Den er opkaldt efter det i 1929 grundlagte tidsskrift Annales d'histoire économique et sociale, centrum for denne bevægelse. Centralt var afvisningen af begivenhedshistorie og forsøget på at realisere en overgribende menneskevidenskab. De franske historikere Lucien Febvre og Marc Bloch er grundlæggerne af tidsskriftet og betragtes som grundlæggere af denne strømning.
