Diese Wanderung vom Loferer Hochtal zur Von Schmidt-Zabierow Hütte (1.966m) ist ein beeindruckendes Bergerlebnis.
Von Lofer aus folgen Sie der 311 und biegen links ins Loferer Hochtal ein. Die kleine Straße führt zu einem Parkplatz, von dem aus die Wanderung beginnt.
Der steile Weg ist mit 601 gekennzeichnet und führt durch einen Buchenwald aufwärts ins Karstgebiet, von wo aus man einen ersten Blick auf die Schmidt-Zabierow-Hütte erhaschen kann.
Die Berglandschaft ist spektakulär und sehr dramatisch.
Die Wanderung vom Parkplatz zur Hütte dauert 4 bis 6 Stunden.
