Die Tilleul des Lognards ist ein bemerkenswerter Baum, der einen wichtigen Orientierungspunkt in der Landschaft bildet. Diese Linde ist über 400 Jahre alt. Der Name "des Lognards" stammt von der Tatsache, dass an diesem Baum eine Reihe von Söldnern der Burg von Logne von den einheimischen Bauern aufgehängt wurde, weil sie das ständige Plündern leid waren. Vor dem Baum steht ein eisernes Kreuz auf einem grauen Fuß, mit dem etwas Eigenartiges ist: Auf der Sockel steht der Name Daniël Herman und das Jahr 1771. Dieser Name und ein anderes Jahr finden sich auch auf einem anderen Kreuz in der Nähe, aber in den Archiven ist diese Person nirgends zu finden. Auf dem eisernen Kreuz steht übrigens ein anderes Datum: 1767. Recycling avant la lettre? Der Baum wurde auch verwendet, um Zahnschmerzen zu heilen: Man steckte eine Münze zwischen die Spalten der Rinde, und das sollte den Schmerz vertreiben...
