Diese Rundwanderung führt dich über die hohen Talränder der Hoegne von Pepinster zur mittelalterlichen Stadt Theux (nicht weit von Franchimont). Beide haben einen Bahnhof, Pepinster ist in weniger als 2 Stunden mit dem Zug von Gent aus erreichbar.
Die Landschaft ist die der "entwaldeten" Ardennen, sehr hügelig, aber offen, sodass man von einem erstaunlichen Panorama zum nächsten gelangt. Ein echtes "Dépaysement"...
Die Route verläuft zu 75 % über befestigte - aber sehr ruhige - Straßen. Sie folgt teilweise dem GR 573 "Tour de la Vesdre" und seiner Spa-Variante.
