Ein Spaziergang von fast 14 km durch die Landschaften und Überflutungsgebiete zwischen dem Fluss Maas und dem Kanal Zuid-Willemsvaart, sowie die Maasdörfer Oud-Rekem, Uikhoven, Kotem und Boorsem.
Gelegen zwischen Maasmechelen und Lanaken. Als Grundlage wurde die Wanderkarte 'Oud-Rekem' des Regionalen Landschafts Kempen & Maasland verwendet (http://www.rlkm.be/)
Startplatz: Parkplatz 18, Kanalzone z/n in 3620 Oud-Rekem (Lanaken). Am 29. Mai 2008 wurde Oud-Rekem von Toerisme Vlaanderen zum "schönsten Dorf von Flandern" gewählt.
Dieser Spaziergang fand am 18. Mai 2020 statt.
