Clausthal-Zellerfeld () ist eine Stadt im Landkreis Goslar in Niedersachsen, sie liegt im Oberharz auf einer Höhe zwischen 390 und 821 m ü. NHN und ist Standort der Technischen Universität Clausthal. Die Stadt trägt den Titel Berg- und Universitätsstadt und das Prädikat Luftkurort.
Clausthal-Zellerfeld liegt auf der Oberharzer Hochebene. Die Umgebung ist im Vergleich zum Großteil des Harzes weniger bergig, sondern nur hügelig. In der Folge ist das Umland auch weniger stark bewaldet und es gibt mehr Wiesenflächen. Verstreut in und um Clausthal-Zellerfeld finden sich zahlreiche Teiche und Wasserläufe des Oberharzer Wasserregals.
