Das Rathaus im neo-flämischen Stil wurde vom Architekten Lepercq entworfen. Das Gebäude verfügt über Spatzengiebel (Treppengiebel), einen runden Giebel, Glockentürme und die Verwendung von Backstein und Stein. In der Halle stand früher das Modell eines Schlosses, das im 16. Jahrhundert zum Schutz der Stadt und der umliegenden Landschaft gebaut wurde und nach der Französischen Revolution zerstört wurde. Seit dem Jahr 2000 läutet ein Glockenspiel an der Fassade zu jeder vollen Stunde die Töne von Guy Béarts "l'eau vive", das sich auf das Tal der Deûle bezieht.
