Der "Chiron" (lokale Bezeichnung für Granitkugeln, die aus dem Boden ragen) ist ein in der Natur häufig vorkommendes Element, um das sich zahlreiche Legenden und geheimnisvolle Geschichten ranken. Die Naturlandschaft des Rocher Branlant in der Gemeinde Largeasse ist mit solchen Chirons übersät, wo auch ein Granitchaos einen wackeligen Stein erkennen lässt: den Rocher Branlant. Die Legende des Rocher branlant ? Man erzählt sich, dass der Wackelfelsen als "Stein des Gerichts" diente, insbesondere für Frauen, die Ehebruch begangen hatten. Sie konnten sich von dieser Anklage befreien, wenn sie es schafften, einen dieser Steine zum Wackeln zu bringen. Realität oder Legende?
