Building 15, also known as Zeiss Building 15, is an architecturally and historically significant high-rise building in Jena.
It is 42 meters high and comprises eleven floors. It was built in 1915 as a factory building designed by the architect Friedrich Pützer, making it the oldest high-rise building in Germany. The client was Carl Zeiss AG, on whose factory premises in the west of Jena's city centre the building was built according to American models. The building housed parts of the Zeiss Group's optical workshops. During the Second World War, the building was severely damaged and burned out almost completely.
