On the edge of the Aisne department, come and stroll on a long route between Porcien and Thiérache, between village and countryside, between hills and valleys... On this route No. 51, observe the fortified churches of Renneville and Fraillicourt. At the starting sign, take "Rue du Pont" towards Rozoy. Cross over the "Hurtaut" and leave the village. After 900m, leave the main road by taking the path on the right. At the intersection by the "Bertincourt farm," continue straight ahead. Upon reaching the village of Fraillicourt, cross the main road and join "Rue au-delà de l’eau." At the bottom of this street, turn right onto "Rue Plomb Fontaine." Continue straight and cross over the Malacquise. Join the village square then turn left towards the fortified church on "Rue du Moulin." Pass beneath the church and turn left to descend "Rue Taviaux." Continue along this path towards Wadimont for 2.7km. In the village, turn right (marker 14/31). Climb the hill for 200m and head right again towards the cemetery. At the top, descend the path down the little hill to reach the departmental road. Turn right and continue straight for 900m until you reach the place called "la Maison Rouge." There, turn left to take the path that will lead you into the "Bois corbeaux." In the woods, continue on the main path and, at the bottom of the descent, turn right. Exit the woods and head towards the "Briqueterie farm." Cross the departmental road and continue straight (marker 25/31). Be careful when crossing! After 350m, turn left and then, 600m later, turn right (marker 27/31). Veer right again at the 3rd intersection. At the bottom of the hill, turn left at the first intersection. In this new descent, turn right after 470m and reach the village of Renneville by descending slightly in a zigzag. Pass near the church on "Rue Haute de Chaumont." At the bottom of this street, turn right to return to your starting point.
