Near a small anticline, there is a sign that tells us we are on Hockslay. Unlike the schists and slates, which are the main rocks of this region, the rocks here are composed of silicate. And apparently, this is a biotope for rare plants such as the bright yellow spring goose, the pink Carthusian clove, the light yellow hemp nettle, and the fluffy hare's foot. We can see them all.
From the protruding rock, surrounded by low oaks with strikingly bright green, well-branched lichens, we have a beautiful view of the village of Kautenbach and the surrounding valley.
And for those who would like to take a break, there is a sofa here.
