Jerusalem or Gerkesklooster was a men's monastery in the Frisian village of Gerkesklooster that also owes its name to it. Although founded in 1240 as a Premonstratensian monastery, it was transformed into a daughter monastery of the Cistercian monastery of Klaarkamp near Rinsumageest in 1249. The monastery was dedicated to Mary and Benedict. In 1580 the monastery was dissolved and in 1594 all buildings except the brewery were demolished. This building was repurposed in 1629 and became the reformed church of Gerkesklooster.
