¿Sabías que Jean Neuhaus es considerado el creador del praliné? Diseñó ese praliné en 1912 en la tienda de su abuelo. Esa tienda todavía existe y se puede ver en la Galería de la Reina. Jean llevó al mercado el primer chocolate relleno con un relleno suave. Y aún más. También la invención de la caja de pralinés, la Ballotin, está vinculada a Neuhaus. Unos años después del primer praliné, su esposa inventó la Ballotin. Lo hizo por la simple razón de que cuando veía a su marido vender pralinés y esconderlos en un bolsito, no podía soportar ver cómo se rompían.
