El bosque en el valle del arroyo Bijlokebeek también se amplió en 2013 con más de 4 ha. Las especies de árboles plantadas son las mismas que en Boekhoutmeers. La mayoría de los árboles y arbustos plantados se cultivaron a partir de semillas y bayas de la región: son verdaderas 'plantas de aquí'.
