Estos antiguos edificios de granja han sido perfectamente restaurados y mantenidos. Afortunadamente, no se intentó hacer un castillo con torrecitas. Ahora es una hermosa vivienda. La granja original tiene una larga historia. La actual denominación Verbrande Hoeve se encuentra, por cierto, en el antiguo mapa FERRARIS, con la misma denominación en francés. En el mapa de Ferraris, un hof/granja no se designaba con 'Ferme', sino con la abreviatura Cse de la denominación antiguamente común 'Cense'. Estos mapas fueron utilizados por Napoleón para fines menos pacíficos.
