El Lakerhof es una de las granjas históricas de Kessenich. Primera mención en 1541 como propiedad de la familia van Waes, en 1804 vendido al barón Michiels. Ubicado en el borde del valle pantanoso del Itterbeek, ya aparece señalado en el mapa de Ferraris (1771-77) como Cse Laekerhoff en forma de una granja doble, ambos edificios con el tejado en ángulo recto a la calle; en la misma forma se representa en el Atlas de las Caminos Vecinales (1845).
