A partir de la estación Wezemaal (¡trabajos hasta mediados de 2025!) primero atraviesas un barrio residencial para luego, tras aproximadamente un kilómetro, conectar con el sendero GR en la Wijgaardberg. Luego caminaremos por la parte central a lo largo de hermosos caminos rurales, hacia la iglesia de Gelrode, para a partir del km 8,5 volver a conectar con el GR hasta la estación de Aarschot. Hay que tener cuidado aquí al final, ya que la escalera hacia abajo desde Kouterberg puede ser muy resbaladiza. La parte central del recorrido se acerca al sur de la autopista y puede tener una mala puntuación de silencio (según la dirección del viento)
