1444 mencionado por primera vez. El molino con casa de entrada forma el cierre de la Libertad Superior a la Libertad Inferior. Ampliada como instalación de defensa, el edificio sirvió en tiempos de necesidad para proteger el castillo. En 1910, la rueda de agua fue reemplazada por una turbina. En 1963, el molino pasó a ser propiedad de la familia Beyer tras la compra al conde Landsberg. Hasta finales de los años 60, estuvo en funcionamiento como molino, después solo comercio de tierras. Desde 1999, el molino solo se utiliza con fines residenciales. Al haber cruzado la casa de entrada, entramos en el área de la Libertad Superior.
