El área natural protegida Ziegenberg se encuentra en el municipio de Borchen, en el distrito de Paderborn, en Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Es la única reserva natural en este municipio.
La pequeña área se extiende al suroeste de la ciudad central de Paderborn y al noroeste de la localidad central de Borchen. En el borde oriental del área pasa la A 33, al oeste la carretera estatal L 756 y al noreste la L 755. El Lohne, un afluente derecho del Alme, fluye a través de la parte suroeste del área. Al norte se conecta directamente con la reserva natural Ziegenberg, que tiene aproximadamente 81 ha, en el territorio de la ciudad de Paderborn. Ambas reservas naturales juntas son aproximadamente coincidentes con el área FFH Ziegenberg.
