La ruta norte de 100 castillos entusiasma a las ciclistas y ciclistas con su hermosa naturaleza y sus extraordinarias edificaciones. En el extremo norte del Münsterland, el paisaje de parque de Münsterland se presenta tan variado como en ningún otro lugar de la región: el Ems serpentea a través de los llanos y el bosque de Teutoburgo modela el paisaje con sus elevaciones. En el recorrido circular desde Münster pasando por Bad Bentheim, Rheine y Tecklenburg hay mucho por vivir y descubrir: del paisaje de parque al balcón del Münsterland. Destacan especialmente a lo largo de la ruta el castillo Hülshoff, el monasterio Bentlage y el complejo de castillos gemelos Harkotten.
