Con la Caldera de Gairía en el horizonte, la ruta parte del pueblo de Tiscamanita y asciende hasta la cresta de Morro Jorjado, donde ofrece magníficas panorámicas de la zona, para descender después al pueblo de Agua de Bueyes y continuar desde allí hasta Vega de Río Palmas, hasta el cono de un volcán.
