Le canal Gand-Terneuzen ou Canal Gand-Terneuse,,, est un canal à grand gabarit . Il relie Gand à l'estuaire de l'Escaut occidental , à proximité de la ville de Terneuzen . Il permet aux navires venant de la mer du Nord de se rendre au port de Gand , sans passer par Anvers.Le canal a été creusé entre 1823 et 1827, à l'initiative du roi Guillaume Ier des Pays-Bas. À cette époque, la Belgique faisait partie des Pays-Bas.
