La carrière du chateau de la Rocq est située sur la rive qui fait face au château de la Rocq.
Ensemble de roche calcaireuse de fromation de la Rocq (RCQ) d'une dizaine de mètres caractérisée par des strates horizontales. Calcaire de qualité moyenne et la même formation que celle de Watiamont. C'est un endroit réputé pour la spéléologie.
Elle est baignée en partie par un plan d'eau qui permet notamment une traversée au dessus de l'eau.
