Ce n'est pas pour rien que le cimetière de Hoog Kortrijk porte le nom de « Vue ». Promenez-vous dans cet endroit de silence en direction de l'étang situé derrière le Onument.
Ce Onument est un récent monument commémoratif circulaire datant de 2021. Il rend hommage aux nombreuses victimes du Covid et est un lieu de réconfort face à diverses expériences de perte. Des moments, des événements et des rituels peuvent également y être organisés. Silencieux ou bruyants, petits ou grands, à vivre ensemble ou seul. Et c'est de toute façon un endroit calme, que l'on peut qualifier de méditatif, avec une belle vue sur l'étang et les champs environnants. Au bord de l'étang repose la sculpture en marbre « Grand Marbre Lié », une œuvre de l'artiste courtraisien Paul Van Rafelghem.
