En 2018, Eddy Durnez a commencé une parcelle expérimentale de vigne le long de Fleriskotstraat à Wilskerke.
Dans l'argile lourde de la polders, ce n'était pas une tâche évidente. Lorsque le fermier, qui était propriétaire du terrain, a pris sa retraite, Eddy a saisi sa chance et a lancé le projet ambitieux Zeewientje : une parcelle de vigne de 2 hectares où plus de 25 vinificateurs amateurs ont désormais leur propre mini-vigne. Chacun fait son ou ses propres vins tandis que toutes les connaissances, expériences et matériaux sont partagés.
