L’itinéraire commence à l’office de tourisme. Cette promenade tranquille vous emmène le long d’un chemin étroit et ombragé sur la colline. Passez devant l’église Saint-Hubert, édifice néogothique de 1927, puis quittez le village quelques centaines de mètres en chemin. Admirez ce vaste panorama : la profonde vallée de l’Amblève, le hameau de Cheneux, la ferme du château de Vaulx-Renard et, tout près, le château de Froidcour. Prenez le chemin qui mène à la forêt. A la lisière de la forêt, tournez à droite et suivez la corniche étroite. Vous marchez parfois sous les arbres, parfois dans les champs, où vous pouvez voir la rivière. Vous prenez le chemin à droite et arrivez au point de départ en bas du village.
