Bienvenue à Baal, le village du héros de cyclo-cross Sven Nys. Le Balenberg est le point culminant de cette promenade et un endroit légendaire pour tout fanatique de cyclo-cross. C'est ici que se déroule chaque année le Grand Prix Sven Nys et sur la colline se trouve le Sven Nys Cycling Center, un centre interactif fascinant pour et sur le cyclisme tout-terrain. Sur l'autre flanc, vous traversez une réserve naturelle unique où vous pouvez apercevoir le chérubin local, le papillon de feu. Promenez-vous dans les prés et les bois et découvrez le village où ce champion a grandi. Écoutez le carillon de 13 cloches de la Sint-Annakerk qui retentit toutes les 15 minutes.
