À Nieuwvliet, il existe un itinéraire pédestre de 7,7 km accessible aux personnes en fauteuil roulant et aux déambulateurs.

De cette façon, les personnes handicapées peuvent facilement se rendre dans la belle nature d'Oostkamp et profiter du plaisir de se promener sans soucis. Cet itinéraire a été créé grâce à la collaboration du Conseil des personnes handicapées et de l'asbl.

Les beaux Nieuwenhovebos et Domein Erkegem ont été choisis. L'itinéraire, adapté aux besoins des utilisateurs de roues, commence et se termine à Welzijns Schakel Nieuwvliet (Lieven Gevaertplein 4).

L'itinéraire est également idéal pour les personnes avec des poussettes.
