Le Kemitzenstein, également appelé Chamnitzen, est une élévation de 580,6 m d'altitude au-dessus du niveau de la mer dans les Franconian Alb, avec un ensemble de formations rocheuses dans la commune de Bad Staffelstein dans le district de Lichtenfels en Haute-Franconie.
Le Kemitzenstein se situe dans le parc naturel de la Suisse franconienne - Forêt de Veldenstein, entre les villages de Kümmersreuth, un quartier sud-est de Bad Staffelstein, au sud-ouest, et Rothmannsthal à l'est, un quartier sud-sud-est de Lichtenfels; cependant, seules les zones inférieures de ses pentes orientales et nord-est appartiennent à Lichtenfels.
