Alsenborn, avec environ 2750 habitants, est le plus petit quartier de la commune d'Enkenbach-Alsenborn, située dans le district de Kaiserslautern en Rhénanie-Palatinat. Jusqu'en 1969, Alsenborn était une commune indépendante, avant d'être intégrée à la nouvelle commune dans le cadre de la réforme administrative de Rhénanie-Palatinat. Alsenborn a acquis une renommée régionale grâce à ses troupes de cirque, à son club de football SV Alsenborn, qui a concouru pour la montée en Bundesliga dans les années 1960, et en tant que lieu de résidence du footballeur Fritz Walter, qui est devenu champion du monde en 1954 en tant que capitaine de l'équipe nationale allemande.
