Dans le quartier nord-ouest du parc du château, l’orangerie a également été construite de 1727 à 1734 d’après les plans de J. C. Schlaun, tout comme la faisanderie. Le pignon plat du côté sud est orné des armoiries de l’alliance de Ferdinand von Plettenberg sous la couronne du comte et de la chaîne de la Toison d’or. En outre, Schlaun a mis l’accent sur la fonctionnalité d’un bâtiment fonctionnel dans ce bâtiment. Selon le plan d’étage, l’orangerie se composait d’une seule pièce avec deux serres attenantes pour accueillir des plantes et des arbres exotiques. Plusieurs poêles chauffaient la plante en hiver. Les appartements des jardiniers étaient situés dans les deux ailes.
