Le Puente del Mar (littéralement, "pont de la mer") était pendant des siècles la route naturelle au-dessus de la rivière maintenant détournée vers le port. Le pont original a été détruit par des inondations, et celui-ci a été construit pour le remplacer en 1591. Des siècles plus tard, spécifiquement en 1933, il a été piétonnisé et des escaliers élégants ont été ajoutés, conçus par Javier Goerlich. Le Puente del Mar se compose de 10 arches mesurant 15 mètres et demi chacune. Vous trouverez également des sculptures de la Virgen de los Desamparados, patronne de Valence, et de San Pascual tout au long du pont.
