Le château de Geulle a été construit en 1595 par Wolter Hoen van Hoensbroeck. De l'imposante structure de cette époque, la cour extérieure avec ses douves brille toujours de toute sa splendeur. Le château est entouré d'un magnifique jardin avec de vieux arbres. De l'autre côté de la route se trouvent deux pilastres de portail du XVIIIe siècle en face du pont d'entrée. Cette oasis de calme est située à 12 kilomètres au nord de Maastricht, entre la Meuse et le canal Julian.
