"Den Dikke van Pamel" (o localmente abbreviato in "den dikke") è una famosa figura del paese a Roosdaal (Pamel). Il suo vero nome era "Victor De Klercq". Nacque a Pamel il 14 giugno 1848 e morì lì il 16 febbraio 1885. Per quanto riguarda il suo vero peso, è difficile dirlo, ma Victor era una figura enormemente larga e pesante. Il 9 settembre 2001 è stata inaugurata una statua in Kaaistraat a Roosdaal. La scultura è stata progettata dall'artista Patrick Van Craenenbroeck.
