Il mulino è stato menzionato per la prima volta nel 1379 in documenti scritti. All'epoca apparteneva al Castello di Binderveld. Il mulino, che fungeva da mulino per cereali, è stato ristrutturato più volte e l'attuale edificio del mulino, realizzato in mattoni, risale al 1910. Nel 1937 si è svolta un'ulteriore ristrutturazione.
Il meccanismo di chiusura, la ruota idraulica metallica e il macchinario da mulino sono ancora presenti. Nel 1993 il mulino è stato protetto come monumento e l'area circostante è stata protetta come paesaggio di villaggio.
