Fai un breve percorso esplorativo attraverso il variegato Heesakkerpark. Camminerai lungo il Molenmuseum e il Sevensmolen. Lungo il cammino vedrai un bel laghetto e attraverserai sia boschi di conifere che di latifoglie. Per i bambini c'è un'area giochi ben attrezzata. Lungo il percorso blu potrai godere di alcune poesie di Toon Van Hoof, poeta del villaggio di Overpelt dal 2009 al 2011. Questa valle è stata formata dal pittoresco Dommel.
Goditi il paesaggio variegato e scopri due dei molti mulini della comunità moliniera di Pelt. Se sei fortunato, potresti vedere in primavera il raro groentje (farfalla) o in estate la piccola farfalla martin pescatore.
Il parco comunale Heesakkerpark offre diverse specie di alberi, un'area giochi avventurosa per bambini, un'opera d'arte naturale su un'isoletta e un mulino a vento. Prenditi anche del tempo per visitare i mulini e il museo dei mulini.
