Il GRP 123 è un grande sentiero ad anello attraverso e attorno all'ovest della provincia del Hainaut. Il punto di partenza e di arrivo è Tournai. Da lì si prosegue attraverso le pianure dello Schelda con molta acqua e boschi. Qui si collega anche con il GR 121 e il GR 122. Successivamente, il GR segue la valle della Dendre, una regione rurale con diversi siti storici come l'abbazia di Cambron, i castelli di Attre e Bois-de-Lessines, l'ospedale di Notre Dame à la rose a Lessen. Dalla valle si sale verso le colline del Pays des Collines (che si collegano alle Ardenne Fiamminghe); qui incontriamo il GR 129, che attraversa il Belgio da est a ovest. Dalla Kluisberg si scende di nuovo verso la valle dello Schelda e si ritorna a Tournai.
