Il faro Dicke Berta è un faro a Cuxhaven-Altenbruch. Il faro monumentale situato all'ingresso dell'Elba è stato in funzione come faro secondario dal 1897 al 1983; il faro principale associato Schlanke Anna non esiste più.
Oggi, il faro si trova nella scarpata lato terra della diga, a circa 1 km a nord dell'area abitata del quartiere Altenbruch, sulla riva sinistra dell'Elba, che qui sfocia nel mare dei Wadden dirigendosi verso ovest-nordovest. L'accesso avviene tramite la strada Döschers Trift. A ovest della torre si trova una chiusa – non navigabile – nella diga, che controlla il livello dell'acqua del canale Altenbrucher che proviene da sud, il quale si estende nel porto di Altenbruch, soggetto alla marea marina e utilizzato dalle barche a vela.
