Hohenhausen è una località del comune di Kalletal e il suo centro amministrativo. Hohenhausen, con circa 3800 abitanti, è il principale centro di Kalletal.
La località si trova nel Land della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia, nel distretto di Lippe.
Si trova a 10 chilometri a nord di Lemgo, 20 chilometri a nord di Detmold, 28 km a nord-est di Bielefeld, 21 km a sud di Minden e 14 km a sud-ovest di Rinteln. Hohenhausen si trova nella valle del torrente Westerkalle a un'altezza di circa 160 metri sul livello del mare.
