Wülfrath-Düssel a Velbert-Neviges
Iniziamo l'itinerario a Düssel e raggiungiamo rapidamente la valle romantica del fiume Holzer. Questo tratto del sentiero è una vera perla del neanderland STEIG. Raggiungiamo rapidamente l'altezza presso Wülfrath e la Vecchia Strada di Colonia.
Passiamo sotto l'autostrada 535 e saliamo attraverso una bella foresta verso la fonte di Düssel. Da lì dobbiamo attraversare ancora due valli, poi ci troviamo su un costone montuoso accanto alle rovine del Castello di Hardenberg - restano visibili solo cumuli di terra.
Scendiamo nella città dei pellegrini di Velbert-Neviges, con numerose opportunità di ristoro, il Duomo dei pellegrini in cemento, il Castello di Hardenberg e soprattutto il leggendario campo da minigolf dei “Hardenberg Pötter”, pluricampioni tedeschi di minigolf.
